Confusion
Confusion is such an awkward emotion. It is perhaps the feeling of uncertainty – the reality of not knowing what may come next or what you are expected to do afterwards. We always have countless questions stored in our minds but we never get to find the answers to all of them. Perhaps some things are just meant to be like that – unanswered. Formulated queries oftentimes make us even more confused. The direction of nowhere – pointing to no place in particular, heading to no set destination. Possibilities all jumble inside our heads. So many choices, so many options, so many possible answers, yet it takes us eternity to find the right one. Yes or no? Is it the truth or is it just full of deceit? All those years of schooling don’t pay off at times for we still get confused no matter how knowledgeable we are of things already. We may never be able to erase the reality of confusion. We must accept that confusion is a reality we must all confront throughout our lives. While accepting it, we too should work to overcome it and get used to it and eventually, confusion will not be a more tool for our self-bewilderment but rather a means by which we can better understand not merely ourselves but others as well.
