Still some of me left for the taking...
Its one of those nights when you feel deserted by your consciousness and you drift into the abyss that is your dream.
The crisp winds and silent crows of the night make you wonder why youre even refusing to retire and finally end the day.
Contrary to what fate has mapped out, you have veered off into another dead end.
The whole world may never understand what goes on inside your head as your insides yell for help. Confused, nay, disabled by your thoughts are the urges and craving for the life that has been stolen from you.
They may never really know what you lack, for they only see what you seem to have. But sometimes, it is only through those shortcomings that they uncover the shadow that envelops your entirety.
He may never really reach the pinnacle of your core. But it is through that climb that you have come to take his hand and rise with him till you both begin again.
A second chance. Maybe a third.
...until you begin again.
You may never really believe the big drops of rain that have befallen you.
You may be hiding behind the curtain of perfection.
You may be scarred yet remain beautiful.
You may be tired and may be ready to let go.
But to the whole world, there is still some of you left for the taking.
