Happy
I failed to realize that the date yesterday was 05/05/05.
Kaya pala ang labo nung araw ko. From the merriest moments down to the downright nasty. Such events bring about extreme chagrin, I tell you.
I really dont want to dwell on the details anymore, but it was like...one moment you're laughing like a hyena, the next you're sobbing like a pitiful vagabond.
I thought things would go straight downhill, but thank God for my friend who lifted my spirits.

me: "have I really changed? like am i bitchy now? kupal na ba ako? and all that crap? lol."
him: "i dont think so..."
me: " really? dont worry, i wont swallow you alive if you say yes.."
him: "i just think you learned na (hopefully)"
me: "aha! finally! someone got it right! :))"
him: "i do know you. :D"
me: "yes you do.."

me: "learned what?"
him: "about life..."
me: "learned from?"
him: "people around you..."
me: "so did i change?"
him: "well i guess so.. i think you should be wiser by now"

*Hallelujah chorus*

Finally, someone who understands.
Someone who doesnt just assume and judge.
Someone who really knows me.

This month has been uncanny so far.
Only 6 days have expired, yet I feel like I'm 5 years older already.
It's not just the things that happen to a person that matter...it is in how one takes them all in.

While watching the oh-so-amusing noontime show Wowowee (yes, I watch that show), I grabbed a pad of paper and a pencil and started jotting down whatever phrase entered my dazed mind.

"We dont see things as they are, we see them as we are."

"There is more to life than just here and now."

"There is always a way out."

"My hints were not lost upon him."

"An absolute promise must be kept whatever happens."

"Dont display your arrogance by saying such things."

"He loves her to distraction." (Is this gramatically correct?)

"The strong usually dominate over the weak."

"I cannot divine his intentions."

"Discover by means not based on reason." (Understandable?)

"What he said was lost in the applause that greeted us."

"They mesmerized me for all the wrong reasons."

"He escaped getting hurt by a narrow margin."

A few phrases may not be original. Those sentences just popped in my head.
I was planning on making a poem out of the random thoughts, but then crazy things started happening, so I lost all contact with my muse.
Maybe I'll manage to combine all those notions into one poem (hopefully a cohesive one) some other day.
But for now, they shall remain quotes from moi.
