I was ridding my old cabinet of all clutter and trash, when I found this pink Cattleya notebook. “Freshemen-G Class write-up (yearbook ’03)” was written on the cover so I instantly read through it. It’s amazing how time can fly by so fast. It wasn’t so long ago when we were all still fearing for the worst that high school life can bring about. We worried about the teachers, Chemistry, Philosophy, experiments, projects, schedules, etc. But look at where we are now. In a matter of 6 months, we’ll be Seniors already…and that thought makes me smile and frown at the same time (if that’s at all possible). But anyway, let me share with you what some of my classmates then back in Freshman year wrote about our class. These are memories that I’ll forever keep with me…thanks to the wonderful bunch of people I spent many years with. Ü

I think that I shall never see, a class as distinct as Freshmen-G. A class that forgets, and remembers, and forgets. A class I can reason with, who listens to every word that I’ve said. Where the people are not perfact and sometimes make mistakes, but are humble enough to acknowledge that they have erred in their ways. Where the students rejoice at the successes of each other. Where they support each other as if they were brothers. It’s a class that will mature to become stronger and better. It’s a class of bright people who above all have good character. –end-
